Blaise Conway

Program Director

Blaise Conway is the Program Director and creative mind behind Society Wellness Group. He was Program Director at Greater Boston Addiction and Greater Boston Behavioral Health, playing a key role in managing operations and providing one-on-one support to clients. After battling addiction, depression, and anxiety for over a decade, Blaise found lasting recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous. His personal experience brings a unique perspective, allowing him to guide clients in navigating their own recovery journeys. As the owner of The Society House, an LGBTQ+ sober living facility in Weymouth, Blaise created the only sober living house of its kind, which opened in 2023. He is committed to providing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community to recover and thrive. In addition to his recovery work, Blaise has been actively involved in various nonprofit initiatives focused on LGBTQ+ rights and HIV awareness.

Noah McIntyre

Group Facilitator

Noah is a group facilitator, author, speaker, and founder of DiscoverGratitude.org, which hosts the Discover Gratitude Movement. With a Master’s in Social Science and Transformative Learning from Antioch University and certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Noah is dedicated to helping individuals, especially within the queer community, find emotional wellness, healing, and connection. Since 2018, he has led over 2,000 gratitude gatherings and created programs like Discover Gratitude with Patch, a children’s book series, and Be Kind with Your Mind for seniors. Noah’s mission is to create spaces where love, peace, and gratitude lead the way, helping others feel whole, worthy, and connected. He is also a proud uncle, partner to Kumar Veerapen, and co-author with his dog, Patch.

Andry Almonte

Case Manager

Andry found himself starting his recover journey at GBAC as a client in 2021, while finishing his master’s degree in Architecture at Wentworth. In 2024 he graduated from Wentworth with his Masters’ of Architecture. As a man in recovery, Andry thrives on the front lines with our community, listening to their concerns and being a source of guidance. This inspired Andry to continue working in recovery and found himself joining the Society Wellness Group after working with Greater Boston Addiction Centers as a case manager.  He is a Dominican American and New Jersey native who is actively involved in helping the LGBTQ+ Community in recovery as well. Currently Andry hopes to someday use his Masters’ degree to evolve recovery centers that would better help clients heal in multi-use spaces designed for the healing of clients.

Marielle Carpentier

Primary Therapist

Marielle Carpentier is an Primary Therapist with Society Wellness Group. She is trained as an Art Therapist (ATR-P) with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health counseling with a focus in Art Therapy. She is an LMHC candidate on track to complete her Licensure in 2026 who graduated with her Masters from Lesley University in 2023. She works with several modalities, specializing in LGBT informed care, DBT, and expressive therapeutic practices. She has worked in community health settings as well as inpatient levels of care with adolescents and adults for both mental health and substance use disorders. She values a collaborative approach focused on allowing each client to build care that works best for them. Her identity as a member of the LGBT community plays a major role in her passion for providing a space for LGBT informed mental health care options.
